Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registration, or interacting with the Just My Type matchmaking service (“Service“), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms“). This Service is a conversation-based connection platform operating entirely through our official WhatsApp Business API account.

If you do not accept these Terms, do not utilize our WhatsApp chatbot. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time, and your continued usage signifies your acceptance of updated provisions.

2. Eligibility and Account Creation

To utilize the Service, you must satisfy the following criteria:

• You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• You must possess a valid, active WhatsApp account tied to your physical phone number.
• You agree to provide accurate, truthful details (age, location, occupation, etc.) during profile initialization. Creating fake, spoofed, or impersonated accounts will result in an immediate and permanent ban.
• You are permitted to operate exactly one (1) profile per WhatsApp phone number.

3. Platform Services & Bot Interface

Just My Type is entirely managed via text command prompts and interactive menu buttons on WhatsApp. Available functions include:

• Profile Setup & Updates: Input details regarding your attributes (age, location, religion, qualifications, occupation, earnings) and preferences.
• Match Requests: Query the system for highly compatible profiles.
• Wallet Checks & Top-Ups: Monitor credit balances and load credits for match unlocks.
• Abuse Reporting: Flag conversations or profiles violating platform guidelines.

4. Matching System & Algorithms

Matches are generated using our proprietary, weighted, preference-matching algorithm. It evaluates attributes like age, earnings, height, religious preferences, and location proximity.

While our scoring system is designed to identify individuals sharing high statistical compatibility, we do not guarantee relationship success, direct responses from matching candidates, or compatibility in offline settings. Connections are unlocked on a mutual compatibility basis.

5. Wallet, Credits, and Payments

Monetization is managed using a built-in virtual matchmaking wallet system:

• Users may receive a limited set of free match allocations (e.g. 1 per week).
• Additional match profiles cost a small unlocking credit of 100 NGN (Nigerian Naira) or local equivalent.
• Wallet top-ups are completed securely via standard integration with payment links. We do not store or process debit card raw credentials on our systems.
• Refund Policy: All virtual wallet deposits, balance top-ups, and match purchases are final, non-negotiable, and strictly non-refundable.

6. Code of Conduct & User Moderation

Just My Type strives to maintain a respectful, comfortable, and safe connection environment. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Sending abusive, threatening, obscene, harassing, or sexually explicit content to matched connections.
• Soliciting funds, financial support, commercial products, or spamming connections.
• Impersonating public figures, other members, or representing falsified profile details.

If a user violates these behaviors, matching connections can submit a formal complaint using the WhatsApp bot command REPORT. We evaluate reports and block offending profiles from accessing the matchmaking database.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is“ and “as available,“ without warranties of any kind. We do not conduct background checks, criminal record reviews, or physical identity verification on users of the platform.

In no event shall Just My Type, its founders, operators, or service partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your offline interactions, connection matches, or overall usage of the platform. We strongly encourage all users to practice safety precautions and meet matches in public spaces.
