• Professional Context: Occupation, career qualification rank, and self-reported earnings bracket (to process income preference rules).
• Matchmaking Preferences: Highly specific requirements regarding your preferred partner's height, age, religion importance, and shared lifestyle choices.
• Financial Records: Transaction identifiers, wallet balances, and successful payment credits processed via our third-party payments provider. We do not store full credit card details.
• Referrals: Referral codes used or shared to track bonus credit rewards.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the gathered information to compute connection suitability, process transactions, and securely manage your matchmaking wallet. Specifically:

• To run our Smart Matchmaking Algorithm, which computes weighted scoring across matching candidates based on mutual preference criteria.
• To send matching recommendations, update notices, or wallet alerts via the WhatsApp Cloud API.
• To credit and manage your built-in matchmaking wallet and process top-ups.
• To enforce our safety rules, allowing users to report inappropriate behavior, spam, or abusive messages.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal profile data to third-party advertisers or marketing agencies. Your information is only shared under the following conditions:

• With Your Potential Matches: When a highly compatible match is made, your profile information (e.g. name, age, general occupation, and preferences) is shared with the other user on WhatsApp. Your phone number is only shared once a mutual connection matches and is unlocked.
• Service Providers: We integrate with trusted services for secure payment processing and the Meta/WhatsApp Cloud API to deliver messages.
• Legal Compliance: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of our users, we may disclose your information.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

We retain your information as long as your account is active to provide matchmaking recommendations. You retain full control over your data:

You can request the immediate deletion of your entire profile, match logs, and financial wallet records at any time. To do so:

• Send a message with the command /delete directly to the Just My Type WhatsApp bot.
• Or visit our online User Data Deletion page to submit a secure deletion request.

Once a request is initiated, we permanently remove your profile, match history, and personal details from our active production databases within 24 hours.

6. Security measures

We implement robust technical measures to keep your data secure. All communications between the WhatsApp platform, our NestJS backend API, and our database are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS). The database is secured with strong authentication policies and isolated firewalls.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the policy text on this URL and, where appropriate, sending a notification message directly to your WhatsApp.
